CareerPath to EmployAIbility aims to strengthen the AI and digital skills of careers advisers, to embed AI-supported career guidance in vocational training institutions and labour market services in line with current labour market trends, and to develop a transferable mentoring and capacity-building model. In addition, the project aims to improve the employability of disadvantaged jobseekers and trainees through a bespoke ChatGPT solution and digital peer mentoring.

The project brings together 20 careers advisers in a Community of Practice spanning four countries. A further 60 professionals will validate jointly developed AI tools based on an AI-supported counselling model and peer mentoring training. The bespoke ChatGPT solution will be tested with 120 VET learners and jobseekers, and at least 20 associated partners will integrate the tools into their daily counselling and training work.

Key outcomes include adapted ChatGPT solutions for disadvantaged target groups, AI-focused peer mentoring training for guidance practitioners, and the integration of AI skills into non-IT VET programmes to prepare learners for future labour market requirements. The project reduces AI-related skills gaps, increases the efficiency of career guidance and helps to reduce labour market inequalities through a scalable, transferable model.
